We have 20 clients who have been with us for more than 20 years!
Twenty-six years ago, when we first created our marketing materials describing what we believe and who we are, we said we "focus on long-term relationships," and therefore our business philosphies represent that focus. But we noticed that most of our competitors also said they focus on long-term relationships, and we had no proof that we were any different from them!
Well, now we do - now that we actually have many long-term relationships - some for more than 25 years. And most of those competitors are not around anymore, because they were focused on the immediate sale, rather than the long-term client relationship.
In fact, we recently discovered that we have more than 20 clients that have been with us using AddonSoftware for more than 20 years. It's a notable achievement not just for us, but for AddonSoftware and for the clients! All around, it's something for us to brag about.
We're also very grateful for it - in many ways. First, that we are still in business after 26 years! Second, that the clients are also still in business after all those years, and still turning to us for support of their systems and their businesses. The fact that the software has met their needs for all that time is something I think many people didn't expect, especially through all the changes experienced in any business over a period of 20 years.
Most of these companies are bigger now than they were 20 years ago, and some are several times bigger. Most started with small systems and over the years added more users, more functionality, more geography, and significantly more technology.
But they still call the same telephone number and talk to the same people about their software.
That's a lot to be grateful for.
